A beautifully made vintage mid-century chest of drawers with a wonderfully warm golden finish and plenty of natural character
The simple, unfussy shape is complemented by softly rounded edges and original wooden handles, allowing the grain of the timber to really stand out. Two smaller drawers sit above three generous full-width graduating drawers, providing plenty of useful storage without the piece feeling overly heavy.
One of the loveliest details is the traditional dovetail construction to the drawers – a small indication of the quality and craftsmanship that went into making this piece.
The warm honeyed tones and clean lines make it incredibly easy to place. It would work equally well in a bedroom, guest room or hallway, and sits particularly comfortably alongside natural linens, earthy colours and collected vintage pieces.
As with all vintage furniture, there are signs of age and previous use, including variations and marks to the finish, particularly across the top. These have been left as part of its history and character rather than trying to make an older piece appear new. We work with a professional independent courier offering a ground floor, doorstep service. Our courier works alone and will require assistance with unloading. Please advise us before purchase of any steps, difficult access or other delivery requirements. If you are unable to assist or require a two person delivery service, please contact us and we can arrange an alternate quotation.
Please ensure the furniture will fit both its intended space and through all access points, including doorways, stairways and hallways. Dimensions are provided within the listing and it is the buyer's responsibility to check these carefully before purchase.
We aim to deliver within 14 days, although timings are dependent upon courier routes and your location.
RETURNS
