A striking original Art Deco dressing table, beautifully shaped and finished in richly figured walnut veneer with contrasting striped detailing.
The large oval mirror sits above two banks of four generous drawers one side, with a further central drawer, an upper drawer on the RHS with a cupboard below, providing plenty of practical storage. Its strong architectural shape, stepped feet and sleek chrome handles give it all the glamour associated with the period, while the wonderful variation in the wood grain makes it especially decorative.
The dressing table is a beautiful piece retaining the character and warmth that come with its age. There are some small marks, small areas of repairs, missing veneer and signs of wear consistent with a genuine vintage piece, but nothing that detracts from its overall appearance or would you consider out of character considering its age. The mirror is is good condition, no real appearance of any foxing.
A fabulous statement piece for a bedroom or dressing room, combining beautiful Art Deco design with genuinely useful storage.

We work with a professional independent courier offering a ground floor, doorstep service. This is quite an akward piece to lift and does have considerable weight to it.
