A wonderfully decorative antique copper and brass bed warming pan, complete with its long turned wooden handle and an unusual engraved dove detail to the hinged brass lid.
Originally made for warming beds with hot embers, pieces such as this now make beautiful decorative additions to an English country interior. Its aged copper, warm brass and time-worn wooden handle give it exactly the depth of colour and patina that is so difficult to recreate with modern pieces.
Lovely displayed beside a fireplace, propped within a collection of antique objects or hung on a wall where the engraved lid can really be appreciated.
