I have deliberately left this untouched – the wonderfully timeworn finish is very much part of its appeal.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe trunk opens to reveal its substantial removable metal liner, which simply lifts\/slides out as a separate piece. This is an unusual surviving feature and adds another layer of interest to the trunk and its original travelling\/storage purpose.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOriginal P\u0026amp;O labels remain visible to the exterior, together with old stencilled lettering to the timber beneath the liner.
